I am a hobbyist providing a service for like minded collectors and enthusiasts - I am not a business and do not set out to make a profit from any sales or services. As such, there is not a profit margin available to offer a full unconditional guarantee on items which are likely to be over 30 years old! Any items which are described as brand new (not new, old stock) are covered by a 30 day returns warranty.
If you do have any problems, please contact me at the earliest opportunity and I will try my utmost to solve them to our mutual satisfaction. However, although I may exchange goods, or offer refunds in some circumstances (upon their return), I cannot refund postage unless I have supplied the wrong item in error, or the items are new (except new, old stock).
Refunds for goods will be given when the authorised returns have been received and tested.
My aim is to ship all goods within 3 working days of order and receipt of payment.
My standard delivery service will usually get the goods to your doorstep within 3 - 5 days of posting in the UK, or 10 - 15 working days in Europe.
I can ship by other methods if your needs are more urgent - drop me an email if so and I will try and find the best rates for the service you need.
Please note that for items below 2 kgs (except for larger or high value items), my normal delivery service in the UK IS NOT an insured or signed-for service - normally the cost of such a service is far too high and my customers do not normally wish to pay the cost of this service.

For overseas deliveries, items below 2 kgs in weight, I DO recommend using the "tracked and signed" delivery service option offered at check out. I have had experience of goods just not arriving, particularly those going to Italy, Spain and Portugal. The cost is more, but if goods do get lost, we can seek full compensation.
There is an economy service service offered, as many customers have requested this, but I have to stress - I will not be able to refund you, or send a replacement item if your goods do not arrive. This is part of my terms and conditions of sale which you have to agree to during checkout.
Deliveries over 2 kgs are always sent via an insured, tracked service.
Should there ever be a delivery issue, I will of course do everything in my power to help sort and trace any problems with any delivery method used.
I make every attempt to fully restore all of my computers to a very high level and sell them as fully working unless stated otherwise. However, remember that they are often over 30 years old and a Curries/PC World guarantee is simply not possible!
Vintage computers can be difficult to tune on modern televisions and I cannot exchange computers for this problem.
I test all of our systems on two TV systems - one old and one modern. Invariably, the output is clearer and more stable on the older TV's.
